Using Google Cloud’s Vision API, we help users determine the safest spots in their homes, as well as giving them tips to make their houses safer. Safeguard will prompt you to choose which spots you would like to be reminded of during a natural disaster.
When a natural disaster occurs, Safeguard will be activated and Google Assistant will talk you through the disaster. It will help you calm down, remind you not to panic and share the location of the closest disaster shelter or meeting point.
Google Assistant will check if you are in need of help. If yes, your location and basic information will be sent to the authorities, providing the type of aid you need. While sending a signal, you can also find out whether your loved ones are safe.
